Indexer Converter Beta - Version 1.7 - Expiration date 12/31/2008 - this program will take .sbp files and convert them to ShopBot indexer files. It will convert Y inch values to B degree values. It is for indexers set up in X axis. Still in development. Please email if problems. The program runs everything into one output file including starting and stopping the spindle router and Z zeroing - you may want to split the output file into separate operations for safety. Has been tested on a PrtAlpha but am guessing it would work on Prt machines. Output files can be manually edited to change VS, MS etc. commands. One could just pull the converted .sbp file from the output and delete the rest. Program should take any .sbp file and come up with the blank size without setting up a model. It works on my machine but would appreciate feedback if you have problems or success. As you know if you've been doing this awhile that it is not usually easy and it takes some effort to understand the principles of the indexer. This is just my attempt to explain how it works for me and know that I am still learning.
