About Nelsons Designs
My name is Randy Nelson. I am the owner and operator of Nelsons Designs. I have over 30 years working with woodworking machines in my spare time. I have done a wide variety of projects including building houses (framing to finishing), decks, furniture, cabinets, outdoor play equipment and toys. Have had approximately 4 years of training and hands on experience working with the software and computer controlled industrial router. We have a 4 foot by 8 foot cutting area and can cut everything from large cabinet parts to smaller 3D parts. Others with the same machine create fantastic 3D signs up to several feet high, custom home theater rooms, boats, fireplace mantles, stairway parts - the possibilities seem endless.
We are a small, growing company continually working on developing new products to manufacture and services to offer. If you have a need for a few parts or a large project please give us a call. We provide free estimates and welcome the opportunity to work with you. We have several 2D and 3D designs available or we can incorporate your designs with our software. With the ArtCAM software we can print or email you the design before it is carved to get your approval.
We are located along the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota in the small community of Little Marais. Little Marais is about half way between Duluth and Grand Marais Minnesota.
